Barometer Books
Except as set out below, all sales are final, and neither the book price or shipping/postage costs will be refunded.
Books will be shipped as soon as practicable after receipt of your order. The shipment cost will be advised as part of your order. Please note that there may be a surcharge if shipping to a remote area.
All purchased books to destinations in Australia will be delivered via standard delivery by Australia Post.
Deliveries to destinations outside Australia are made by DHL (or another courier which we may select) or by standard delivery by Australia Post. Deliveries outside of Australia cannot be made to post office boxes. You are responsible for any duties or taxes on the import of any parcels that may apply in your destination country.
You are unable to cancel your order once it is made, or return any book you have ordered, unless the book is faulty (eg misbound or misprinted) or damaged.
To return any faulty or damaged book purchased via this website, please email our customer service team at hello@barometerbooks.com and tell us if you would prefer a refund or a replacement copy. You will be required to provide proof of purchase when you make a claim for a faulty or damaged book and the faulty book must be returned to us. We will provide you with a prepaid postage sticker for this purpose.
Any book to be eligible for a refund or return must not be damaged, missing parts or pages or have been tampered because of customer negligence or misuse.
Barometer Books will not be responsible if your parcel is delayed, lost or returned to us through no fault of Barometer Books (ie if you have provided us with incorrect or insufficient address details, or if the item is not collected). In that case, you will be required to pay any additional postage cost.
